JOSHUA ROSENBLUM is the composer and co-lyricist of Fermat's Last Tango, the sleeper hit musical fantasy that played Off-Broadway at the York Theatre in 2000. For the concert hall, he has written pieces for trumpeter Philip Smith of the New York Philharmonic, flutist Kathleen Nester of the New Jersey Symphony, and the International French Horn Society, all of which are included on his forthcoming CD of original compositions from Albany Records. Rosenblum has also appeared as pianist with the New York Pops, the New York Chamber Symphony, and the American Symphony Orchestra, and has conducted ten Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, including Miss Saigon, The Music Man, Anything Goes, and Arcadia. As a music journalist, he has written articles and reviews for Newsday, Stagebill and Opera News. He is a summa cum laude graduate of Yale College and the Yale School of Music.

JOANNE SYDNEY LESSNER wrote the book and lyrics to the acclaimed musical Fermat's Last Tango, which received its Off Broadway premiere at the York Theater Company in December 2000. She is the author of the plays Chess Set, Critical Mass, and Crossing Lines, which were selected as an alternate for the Eugene O'Neill Playwrights Conference, as well as a screenplay about the French Romantic composer Hector Berlioz. She contributed book and lyrics to the musical Arabian Nights, which received staged readings at the York Theatre Company and Arts & Artists at St. Paul's. Lessner is a regular contributor of CD reviews and features to Opera News. She is also active as a singer and actor, and holds a B.A. in music, summa cum laude, from Yale University.
